Professional Biography

Hon. Abbas Al Humaid is a distinguished strategic advisor, executive educator, and national policy consultant with a career that spans public governance, corporate transformation, and leadership development.

 

He currently serves as a Member of the State Council in the Sultanate of Oman and is the Founder & CEO of Merit Group, a leading firm specializing in strategy, training, auditing, and executive education.

 

He is the author of several accredited programs and books in the field of strategy and leadership, and has personally trained ministers, CEOs, and board executives across the GCC.

  • Developed the “Chief Strategy Officer Diploma” – the first CMI Level 8 strategy qualification in the region.
